Mediation
Mediation offers a constructive, cost-effective, and confidential approach to resolving disputes without the need for further litigation. Mediation provides a platform for collaborative problem-solving guided by a neutral third party.
Mediation sessions are private, and the details are not disclosed outside the mediation process. This encourages open and honest communication.
Benefits of mediation:
Mediation is generally less expensive than litigation, as it involves fewer legal fees and a quicker resolution.
Mediation can often be scheduled quickly and completed in a shorter time frame compared to court proceedings.
By fostering cooperation and communication, mediation can help maintain or even improve relationships, which is particularly important in family law cases.
Parties are empowered to make their own decisions rather than having a solution imposed upon them by a judge.
Mediation has a high success rate, with most cases resolved at the conclusion of the mediation session.
Tommy Carter is a trained and experienced family law mediator who will help the parties communicate and negotiate to reach a mutually acceptable solution. A mediator does not make decisions for the parties, but facilitates discussion to help them find common ground and resolve their issues.
